A while back I came across BNI, "Business Network International". A company that holds meetings what they call "chapters" very early in the morning exclusive for business people to find business partners and get referrals for your own business.
So I attended one chapter because a friend of mine had introduced me. He basically asked me to join in his place, perhaps part of their marketing and network expansion method and perhaps, yes, because it was getting all too early for him. The meeting was in the basement of a rather unknown hotel and they served breakfast – which I didn't touch as I'm an IF and ketogenic, gluten-free devotee. I saw so many problems with BNI. And where I see a problem that concerns me, I'm on a quest to find a solution. E.g. I felt that these meetings were very early in the morning. Even though the saying "the early bird catches the worm" is true, what is the true percentage of business people that actually do this and keep up with that habit? From a business point of view, it just doesn't make sense to have these meetings so darn early. Flexibility is what is in demand. I'm not saying that it shouldn't be but it is.
In conclusion, I found that BNI collects a substantial yearly fee for something that I believe doesn't work. So I see an opportunity that will blow them out of the water with a much better business concept that, in my opinion, does work. So I bought this domain name.
I believe.
I hold the vision.
